RE: Income Assistance Issuance- Update
Please be advised that due to recent changes with the restrictions of COVID 19, the Income Assistance Department has reverted back to its previous issuance process. Those clients who received bi-weekly assistance prior to the pandemic declaration, were automatically put back on bi-weekly distribution.
What this means for the clients;
- If you received your assistance monthly, you were kept on monthly issuance.
- If you received bi-weekly assistance, you were switched back to bi-weekly issuance.
- You have a choice to wish to switch from monthly to bi-weekly, or monthly to bi-weekly, effective August 1, 2020
- Please inform the Income Assistance office of how you would prefer your issuance to be distributed before August 1, 2020
