RE: Income Assistance Issuance- File Renewal (2020-2021)
Please be advised that due to recent changes with the restrictions of COVID 19, the Income Assistance Department will be doing file renewal for 2020-2021. All clients must have their files up-to-date. Please ensure to check with our file clerk, Kendrah Flett, to see that you have necessary identification; any 2 of Drivers license, Social Insurance Number, Birth Certificate, Passport, or Status card/letter. The identification must accompany your 2019 notice of tax assessment, Manitoba Health Card (Peguis Address). For new applicants, you must present a 60 day bank statement, and confirm that you not receiving EI benefits. The deadline for client file renewal draw has been extended. See notice below.
All Income Assistance clients must attend IN PERSON to sign their renewal forms and receive Income Assistance on this day. There will be no signing done prior to the issuance day. This will occur on July 29 & 30, 2020 at the Peguis Multiplex from 10 am to 4 pm.
Reminder: If clients wish to switch their assistance to bi-weekly or monthly, please inform the office before July 27, 2020.
