In consultation with Peguis Chief and Council and the COVID-19 Emergency Management team, and in light of the recent COVID-19 crisis, all in-class instruction for Peguis Central School has been indefinitely suspended until further notice.
Administration, teachers and support staff will be working within the school to provide remote learning packages for all Peguis Central School registered students in all grades. Please ensure your child is registered. Registrations are still being accepted.
Delivery of packages will begin Monday, September 28, 2020 by the bus drivers. They will be delivered after 9:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please ensure someone is in the home on these days to receive the packages. Each package will contain a letter from the teacher with a schedule of assignments and a contact information sheet to be completed by the parents. Students will be provided materials to complete assignments.
It is crucial that all student work be completed and returned as scheduled. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure students complete their work and return it for correction. The completed work will be used for evaluation and assessment of academic progress. Students/parents who need extra support may contact the teacher and an appointment can be arranged to receive the support needed .
We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to working with our students, parents and guardians in this school year.
