RE: COVID-19- INCOME ASSISTANCE PURCHASE ORDER BENEFIT
The Peguis First Nation Income Assistance department on behalf of Peguis First Nation Chief and Council is pleased to announce that due to the COVID 19 pandemic, On-Reserve Income Assistance clients will be eligible to receive a one time food purchase order. This one time distribution is to help clients with essential food and cleaning supplies during the holiday season. The purchase order can be used at Peguis Family Foods or Fisher Branch Co-op.
The benefit will be distributed as follows:
- All clients who received On-Reserve Income Assistance in Peguis First Nation in November 2020 will be eligible for benefit.
- Single Parents/Families with more than 3 children, will be eligible for $500.00 POs
- Single Parents/Families with 1-2 children will be eligible for $250.00 POs
- Single individuals will be eligible for $100.00 POs
The distribution will take on December 23, 2020 at the Peguis Multiplex from 10 am- 4 pm in drive thru manner. Please stay in your vehicles and our staff will bring the PO to your vehicle.
