Visitation Passes will be available to those residents who qualify and choose to do so. Peguis Senior Centre will determine based on each request. Visitations are not encouraged but are the choice of each resident. Visitations are allowed until January 2, 2020.

The mental wellness of our Elders is important for their well-being, especially during the holiday season. Spending time with loved ones is good for our Elders if it is done safely. For families that choose to remove a loved one from the Peguis Senior Centre for a visit during the holiday season, please be aware of additional guidelines in place for residents during visitations.

  • Household family will be screened prior to approval. The individual picking up resident will speak on behalf of all household family members for screening.
  • All household family members must take extra care in cleaning and washing hands prior to visits.
  • Peguis Senior Centre resident must be able to wear a face mask for the duration of the visit, except when eating.
  • If a resident begins to feel unwell, they must immediately return to the Peguis Senior Centre.
  • Visitations will be kept to a limit of 1 time during the holiday season.
  • Upon return to the facility, residents and driver will be screened. Residents will be on mandatory 4-day isolation.
  • Visitations may be cancelled at any time by Peguis Pandemic Team if deemed necessary.

For those without wheelchair access, a one-hour bus tour of lights in Peguis and Fisher River is available upon request. Maximum of 5 in bus and everyone is required to wear a face mask. Bus tours available until January 7, 2021.

Peguis Senior Centre new Visitation Building is planned to open at the end of February and will be available to families of residents.

We apologize for the late notice to our membership.
